Ancient Civilizations
Overview
Before the Last Forging, numerous realms and civilizations existed throughout the Milky Cosmic Ocean.

The Milky Cosmic Ocean was a vast cosmic region through which the Prime Veins flowed endlessly. Different environments, resources, and concentrations of Amrita allowed unique civilizations, bloodlines, ecosystems, and cultures to emerge over long periods of history.
Among the many realms that existed throughout the Milky Cosmic Ocean, Sivara and Badan became two of the most influential realms known to the Human World.
Located within Sivara, Mount Meru served as one of the largest Prime Vein convergence sites in existence and became the location where the Forgings were performed.
The Human World existed separately from the Milky Cosmic Ocean but maintained connections with the ancient realms through the Himavan Region.
Following the Last Forging, many ancient connections collapsed, became isolated, or disappeared entirely, leaving only fragments of the old world within the Human World.
Milky Cosmic Ocean
The Milky Cosmic Ocean was a vast cosmic domain through which the Prime Veins flowed.
It was the origin region of Amrita Veins and the foundation upon which countless realms and civilizations developed.
Different regions possessed different environments, resources, and concentrations of Amrita. As a result, numerous races, bloodlines, cultures, and ecosystems emerged throughout the ancient world.
Many realms existed within the Milky Cosmic Ocean. Some prospered for thousands of years, while others disappeared long before the modern era.
Prime Veins
Prime Veins were the seven fundamental Amrita Veins flowing throughout the Milky Cosmic Ocean.
The known Prime Veins were:
- Earth Vein
- Water Vein
- Wind Vein
- Fire Vein
- Wood Vein
- Gold Vein
- Void Vein
All major Amrita Veins ultimately originated from these Prime Veins.
The interaction and convergence of Prime Veins influenced ecosystems, bloodlines, civilizations, resources, and the development of life itself.
Mount Meru
Mount Meru was located within the realm of Sivara.
It served as one of the largest known convergence points of the Prime Veins and became the site where the Forgings were conducted.
Because of its strategic importance, Mount Meru became one of the most valuable locations in the ancient world.
Control over access to Meru often influenced political power, resource acquisition, and participation in the Forgings.
Sivara
Sivara was one of the most prosperous realms within the Milky Cosmic Ocean.
The realm was home to Mount Meru and benefited greatly from its proximity to major Prime Vein convergences.
Major populations included:
- Deva
- Gandharva
- Apsara
The realm became one of the primary participants in successive the Forgings and remained one of the most influential powers of the ancient era.
Badan
Badan was one of the major realms within the Milky Cosmic Ocean.
Rich in minerals, gemstones, underground waterways, and industrial resources, it became a major center of production, trade, and resource development.
Major populations included:
- Asura
- Naga
- Yaksa
Badan supplied enormous quantities of materials used throughout the ancient world and became one of the key participants in the Forgings.
Himavan Region
The Himavan Region served as the primary gateway between the Human World and the ancient realms.
The region contained vast forests, mountain ranges, isolated ecosystems, remote wilderness, and powerful magical creatures.
Major populations included:
- Vanon
- Various magical creatures
The region was also known as a cultivation ground for many Ancient Hermits.
After the Last Forging, much of the region was destroyed, isolated, or transformed.
Only remnants survived into the modern era as the Himavan mountain range.
The Human World
The Human World existed separately from the Milky Cosmic Ocean.
Although not part of the ancient realm system itself, it maintained connections with ancient realms through the Himalaya Region.
Unlike many ancient realms, the Human World was not centered around major Prime Vein convergence sites.
Following the the Last Forging, the Human World became increasingly isolated.
Over thousands of years, most knowledge of the ancient civilizations disappeared.
Only scattered relics, bloodlines, ruins, Amrita remnants, and dimensional anomalies remained.
The Prime-Forge & the Forgings
Overview
The Prime-Forge was the great mechanism at Mount Meru. A Forging was the large-scale extraction operation periodically performed there, drawing resources from the Prime Veins.

For countless generations, civilizations gathered at Mount Meru to participate in the Forgings and obtain resources from the Prime Veins.
Extraction Operations
During each operation, participating civilizations opened pathways toward the origin and crystallization zones of the Prime Veins.
This allowed them to obtain extraordinary resources, Amrita outputs, rare materials, relics, and other treasures unavailable under normal circumstances.
No civilization could perform the operation alone.
Multiple civilizations were required to maintain the formation and sustain the process.
Participating Civilizations
Many civilizations participated in successive Ksheer Sagara Operations.
Major participants included:
- Deva
- Asura
- Gandharva
- Apsara
- Naga
- Yaksa
- Numerous other races and factions
The operation became one of the most important events in the ancient world, influencing diplomacy, trade, technological advancement, and political power.
The Final Event
Approximately twenty thousand years ago, the Last Forging was initiated.
As with previous cycles, multiple civilizations gathered at Mount Meru to perform the extraction process.
However, during the operation, a catastrophic failure occurred.
The Incident
The exact details of the disaster have been lost to history.
Ancient records suggest that the extraction process became unstable and threatened to trigger a chain reaction capable of affecting multiple realms.
The incident became one of the most devastating events in recorded history and ultimately marked the end of the ancient age.
Ancient Hermits
Ancient Hermits
Overview
Ancient Hermits were practitioners of the ancient age who dedicated themselves to the study and development of Taba, Patterns, and Taba Cores. Their mastery reached a level that no individual in the modern era has been able to match.
They were neither a kingdom nor a military force, and they were not affiliated with any particular race. Although they maintained relationships with Deva, Asura, and other races throughout different eras, the Ancient Hermits remained neutral and focused primarily on understanding the nature of the world and its energies.
Throughout history, they played a crucial role in the study of Ksheer Sagara and the phenomena associated with Amrita, dimensions, and other ancient energies.
the Last Forging
Approximately 20,000 years ago, a catastrophic accident occurred during the Last Forging.
An immense amount of energy began to spiral out of control, threatening the stability of the world itself.
In response, countless Ancient Hermits united to create a massive Formation designed to seal the Prime-Forge and prevent the disaster from spreading.
The sealing was not 100 % successful, and it came at a tremendous cost. A large number of Ancient Hermits sacrificed their lives in the process.
This event marked the end of the Age of the Ancient Hermits.
Legacy
Although most Ancient Hermits perished long ago, portions of their knowledge survived through disciples, successors, and ancient records.
This knowledge became the foundation of modern Hermit training systems.
Many Pattern techniques, theories regarding Taba Cores, and numerous branches of ancient knowledge trace their origins back to the Ancient Hermits.
Modern Perception
In the modern era, Ancient Hermits are regarded as legendary figures.
Only fragments of information remain, and many stories have been distorted or lost over time.
To modern Hermits, they are considered the founders of nearly everything that is studied and practiced today.
However, no one knows how much of their original knowledge has truly survived, or how much has been lost to history.
The Seal
Formation of the Seal
As the Last Forging escalated beyond control, Ancient Hermits from various regions united to create a massive sealing formation.
The objective was not to save the operation but to prevent a complete collapse of the connected realms.
The Sacrifice
Countless Ancient Hermits sacrificed themselves to maintain the formation.
Many of the greatest practitioners of the era perished during the process.
Their actions prevented the catastrophe from spreading further throughout the ancient world.
Sealing the Prime-Forge
The formation successfully sealed the Prime-Forge and halted the ongoing collapse.
The operation was permanently terminated.
Since that day, no civilization has been able to reopen The Prime-Forge.
Effects on the World
The seal altered the structure of the world.
Ancient pathways between realms collapsed, many civilizations became isolated, and countless records were lost.
The age of interconnected realms came to an end.
Himavan
Only fragments of the ancient connection survived.
The most notable remnant was Himavan, the mountain region that remained connected to traces of the ancient world.
Even in the modern era, Himavan continues to be associated with dimensional anomalies, relic discoveries, and unexplained phenomena.
Legacy of the Ancient Age
Overview
Although the ancient civilizations disappeared long ago, their influence continues to shape the modern world.
Fragments of the old age still emerge through relics, records, dimensional disturbances, and Amrita-related phenomena.
Relics
Ancient relics occasionally appear throughout the world.
Many possess properties that modern technology cannot fully explain or reproduce.
Ancient Records
Only fragments of ancient knowledge survived the collapse.
Most records remain incomplete, damaged, or hidden.
Dimensional Leaks
The seal remains imperfect.
Small dimensional disturbances continue to appear throughout the world.
These anomalies occasionally release relics, energy signatures, and remnants connected to the ancient realms.
Amrita Products
Various Amrita-related materials continue to emerge from dimensional leaks and ancient sites.
These products have become valuable resources for research, industry, cultivation, and technology.
Hermit Corporation
The Hermit Corporation was founded by successors of the Ancient Hermits.
Its primary mission is to monitor dimensional anomalies, recover dangerous artifacts, investigate ancient phenomena, and protect the modern world from threats connected to the ancient age.
